    Description:
    Master improvisers draw deeply from the blues tradition—even while navigating complex jazz harmony. This workshop explores how blues-based language can coexist with—and at times transcend—sophisticated chord progressions.
    Participants will examine the principles that allow blues vocabulary to function convincingly across a wide range of harmonic settings. Through listening, discussion, and guided exercises, the session will strengthen intuitive connections between blues phrasing and jazz harmony, helping players bring greater emotional clarity and depth to their improvisation.
